Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

The App is available to users of all ages. By creating an account, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Account

You may create an account using Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or allow unauthorized access.

You may delete your account at any time through the App or by following the instructions on our account deletion page.

3. License to use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial language learning purposes. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to develop a competing product or service
• Circumvent any security or access controls
• Use automated tools to scrape or extract content from the App

4. Subscriptions and payments

The App offers a free tier and a premium subscription ("Learn Telugu Premium") that unlocks additional content. Premium is available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of the free trial period if applicable. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's subscription settings.

Prices may vary by region and are displayed in the App before purchase. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing; any price changes will apply to the next billing cycle after the change.

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content in the App — including lessons, vocabulary, audio recordings, translations, graphics, and design — is owned by Learn Telugu AI and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any App content without our written permission.

6. User conduct

You agree not to use the App in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Interferes with or disrupts the App or its servers
• Attempts to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
• Harasses, abuses, or harms other users

7. Microphone access

The App requests microphone access for pronunciation exercises. Your voice recordings are sent to our speech recognition providers for processing and are not stored by us (see the privacy policy). You can revoke microphone permission at any time through your device settings, though this will disable pronunciation exercises.

8. Availability and updates

We strive to keep the App available and up to date, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time without notice. We may release updates that you will need to install to continue using the App.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific learning goals. Language learning outcomes depend on individual effort and practice.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learn Telugu AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
